It has been three weeks since my departure from Phor'. Today, as the sun began to set, I caught a glimpse of Theigh between the mountains. The Dukes' grand tower, covered in silver tiles, sparkled in the evening light. If I can continue at my current pace, I will reach the city within another week and a half, entering its walls a good week earlier than I expected.
I set up my tent for tonight, freed myself of this awful, uncomfortable harness, and mended my left boot, which began shedding its sole. Tomorrow at dawn I will pray to Eilistraee before continuing onwards, into the wet Forest.
After traversing the Forest there should be a small tavern, I cannot wait to finally meet another soul. I have not seen another traveler for nine days...Â

Today, I finally left the forest and found the 'Joyful Rat', the tavern I had hoped for. It is a comfortable place just north of the woods, able to fit some 30 patrons with 4 beds for travelers to rent for a few coins.
Besides the innkeeper, a young woman, there were only two other guests: a loving couple of merchants from the east, who were looking to sell their goods in the west. The four of us talked for a long while about all sorts of things; our goals, our intentions, and joyful things we had witnessed. As the night turned darkest and the moonlight vanished behind the clouds, I left for my bed, retreating to my small room in the attic.
Now I'll dedicate some minutes towards cleaning my gear, fulfilling my duties as cleric, and tending to my bodily needs, before finally resting for tonight. Tomorrow I am going to replenish my supplies before continuing on.

Contrary to what I had planned, I dedicated most of today tending to and healing a traveler's wounds. He had cut open his leg while traversing the ruins east of here, leaving a trail of blood as he limped toward the tavern. Had I not been here, he would have bled out, dying before tomorrows twilight. Grateful for his life, he offered me the coin for another night's bed, which I politely refused.
Thank you Eilistraee for lending me your strength, I will devote the remaining evening to showing you my gratitude.
27th of Eleint
After I left the Joyful Rat on the 23rd, I could finally replenish my supplies on the 26th. What little rations I was able to buy at the tavern were stretching thin already.
As the city appears closer each day, I feel my journey will soon come to an end. Yesterday I passed through the first village in weeks; Tomorrow I will reach the city outskirts, and on the 29th I may step through Theighs gates...
May Eilistraee be with me.
